The latest track from Leeds duo Sunflower Thieves is an ebbing and flowing piece of dream folk called ‘I Don’t Know Why’. It aims to explore the idea of connection with loved ones. “The track is about how complicated close relationships can be,” they say. “How the differences in the way we live our lives and follow what we think can affect our understanding of each other, and equally of ourselves.” They achieve this through warm textured music, permeated perfectly by a brass section and coated in their trademark ethereal harmonies.
